Finding Your Hotjar Site ID

The Hotjar Site ID is a unique identifier required to integrate Hotjar with your Shopify store using GTM Assistant. This ID helps Hotjar track visitor interactions, providing valuable insights into user behavior.

Follow these steps to locate your Hotjar Site ID:

Step 1: Log in to Your Hotjar Account​

  • Go to Hotjar and log in using your credentials.
  • Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the main dashboard, where you can see an overview of your projects and sites.

Step 2: Open Organization Settings​

  • Click on your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
  • From the dropdown menu, select Organization Settings.

Step 3: Locate Your Site ID​

  • In the Organization Settings section, you will see a list of all sites associated with your Hotjar account.
  • Browse through the list and find the specific site for which you need the Site ID.
  • Copy the Site ID to use it for integration.

Tip: Ensure you copy the correct Site ID, as each site has a unique identifier.
